First off the production line are these ex-SAR AY ballast wagons.
Two of these wagons were purchased in the late 1990's for the project to rebuild the Welsh Highland Railway.
These models are built from styrene sheet and strips with the open beam frames accurately represented. Finishing details will include brass grab rails and the distinctive large handwheels at each end which control the ballast spreading doors beneath the hopper.
Each model takes between 5 and 8 hours to complete (unpainted) depending on the amount of detailing specified.
Bogies and couplings can be supplied at extra cost on request.
